Water. . .

Water - Less And Less Each Day - The 2nd Stage Of The Resource Wars
by The Old Hippie Because The Glaciers Are Melting, And They Don't Care That You Care.

Water scarcity may be the most underappreciated global environmental challenge of our time.  In the Middle East, China, India, and the United States, groundwater is being pumped faster than it is being replenished, and rivers such as the Colorado and Yellow River no longer reach the sea year round.  Glaciers, the only source of fresh water for billions, are melting worldwide at a much faster pace than predicted, and will be gone completely in many areas in less than 25 to 35 years.  The resource wars from this disappearing resource have already begun.  My usual links-of-proof follow...

It's a terrifying problem for the 2nd and 3rd world countries. The first world countries will make sure they maintain the level of this precious resource that they need to continue living in their arrogant lifestyle. But even this is temporary ofcourse, and they will all act shocked as hell when they have to start serious rationing or worse. I would love to live to see how this whole global warming/water issue plays out but I fear at my age it will be my ancestors who see the results of way too little, way too late.
Thanks for adding me btw....
