CAFTA Passed, Rove is not in prison, much less even on trial, an ultra-right wing sycophant is headed toward the Supreme Court, whom can't seem to remember he was a member of the Federalist Society, open arrogant lies continue to go un-punished, the obvious and smirkingly corporatist take over of "our" government is allowed to worsen, even beyond what it has already reached, known and proven war crimes committed "in our names" go un-punished, known and proven torture of children in "our" prisons continue to be un-punished, not to mention the torture and rape of these children and the other adults in these prisons, that "our" own Pentagon has stated on the public record as having been swept up in broad sweeps of arrests, and that possibly 60% to 70% of these people are most likely innocent of any crimes, but yet most are still there, without charges filed against them - tortured, raped, murdered. . .  And it all remains un-punished, And it all continues - Because "We," Americans continue to allow it. . .

If you deny any of this is true, then (unapologetically) fuck you.  You are either a complete idiot, a coward, or part of them, and in any way you look at it - It is this "continued allowing" that is America's biggest problem.

In a benchmark study released today, researchers found an average of 200 industrial compounds, pollutants and other chemicals in the umbilical cord blood of newborns, including seven dangerous pesticides — some banned in the United States more than 30 years ago.  The report, Body Burden — The Pollution in Newborns, by the Washington, D.C.-based Environmental Working Group, detected 287 chemicals in the umbilical cord blood of 10 newborns.  Of those chemicals, 76 cause cancer in humans or animals, 94 are toxic to the brain and nervous system and 79 cause birth defects or abnormal development in animal tests.
