Remember All The Movies And Novels Of "Future" You've Experienced?
by The Old Hippie Because Of The Fact That Our Reality Is Not Non-Fiction

"1984," and "Brazil" are two classics of fictionalized possible futures with an oppressive right-wing single-party ruled fascist totalitarian oligarchical plutocratic government.  You know, the fiction literature and movies, sci-fi, as well as many other genres, that have described this form of future government rule at many levels and degrees, none of which were benevolent or good for the masses, only for "the few."  We all have watched the movies, read the books and stories. . .

Are we Americans, similar to the German citizens of the 1930s, now living through, allowing, a non-fiction, reality-based, enhanced modern version of those depicted future governments?

Why have we allowed it to get to the point were I, and many others, would even have reason, or feel the need, to ask that question in a serious tone?

The other question, that is more prevalent, is, "How much more will it take. . .?"
