Perspective. . .

Just So You Can Keep “Things” In A Reality-Based Perspective...
by The Old Hippie Because You Still Aren't Stopping Them, Still “Allowing.”

Patriot

As I have pointed out redundantly in previous postings, and as many other more qualified people have also redundantly pointed out in other blogs, and independent media, outside of the control of the six-corporation-controlled “mainstream” media, that does nothing but hide the reality from you to mainly protect their over-all profits from all of their interlinked corporations...  It is your “allowing” of their continued across-the-board destructions of your freedoms and security, to protect themselves from your possible ability to stop them... that is the problem.

You Say You Want Proof?  [I'm not really sure that you do, but I'll give it my best effort.]

Fox News, (as well as the other corporatistly controlled networks, even if to a slightly lesser degree of in-your-face-corporatist-propaganda-as-news,) - They do not report the news, they do not say what you want to hear either - They “report & discuss” what they want you to believe, to accept, and to allow.  And Fox is the most watched, the most popular “News” in America...  Even though every single measurement of “inform-ness” study/poll has proven, over and over again, that the Fox viewers, (and other corporatists’ news viewers,) are the least knowledgeable Americans of what their reality actually is.

Only a small minority of Americans even bother to read or watch the news from other sources, such as reality-based independents, or any of the foreign media, even though the same studies/polls proved that they are the most accurately informed Americans - But their numbers are slowly growing, now that the reality of the effects of the corporatist take-over of the American government is beginning to smack the rest of America in the face, and pocketbook.

“Land Of The Free?” - In all of the written history of this planet, no nation has ever locked up more of its citizens than America, no nation has ever locked up a higher percentage of its citizens, than America, the land of the free.  and the numbers are growing, and they're growing faster, and the recidivism rate is rising as the in-prisons education programs have been drastically cut.

The Federal Reserve Banking System - Is not in any way a government entity, it is a private corporation.  This for-profit-private-corporation is completely outside the control and regulation of the government, (you.)  They control-the-control of all monies in the American banking systems.

In the Face of Recession, Corporate Profits are at Record Levels - This single fact should remove the blinders-of-denial from at least a few of you.  Right?  You make less, you pay more, they pay less, they make more, faster.  And the “experts” are still trying to figure out why the corporatists are unable to hide their sneering smiles anymore...

The Destruction of the Middle-Class’s Economic and Political Voice - If you don't understand the realities behind their success on this, then you really, (really,) haven't been paying any attention.

That's enough for today - This is just too depressing for this old hippie...  As a last shot at your education, (if you haven’t done so yet,) make a real effort to view “Zeitgeist - The Movie” - It alone will open almost any doubter’s eyes to the realities of “their government.”

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = =  <  B e l o w  T h e  F o l d  >  = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

[ Also - for a further perspective...  Not only did you “allow” him to say it...
you then “allowed” him to get away with saying it. . .  and you then...
(to add even further injury to his insult...)  “allowed” him to prove it. ]

“Stop throwing the Constitution in my face,
It's just a goddamned piece of paper!”

George W. Bush

[For those who doubt he actually said it - Here is the quote’s verification link.]

Not to mention your “allowing” of, (and the getting away with of,) his help in the destruction of the Separation of Church and State, the creation of “Free-Speech Zones,” the illegal invasion of another nation that was of no threat to us or their neighbors, had not attacked us, and had nothing to do with those that had actually attacked us, the doing away with Habeas Corpus protections, the “legalization” of torture, the unconscionable protection of corporate profits over all other concerns, including life itself. . .

Hello old hippy. Wild Bill here north of you in SC. Hope your day is going well. Ever checked out democratic underground? www.democraticunderground.com
I make many of the points you make about current affairs there. People have got to be told the real truth and history of this country IMO. Light up the dark!
